Anti-spam is one of the important work of CCERT from beginning of CCERT.  
A team ,CAST(China Anti-Spam Team), is established to carry out 
research and operation on anti-spam in 1998.
	
In 2001, the CAST had processed 338 complaining reports  about spam or spam 
relay .With the cooperation of CSIRTs of CERNET, we patched or repaired  
more than 50 email server with vulnerabilities, and replied more than 37 email
 asking for help.CCERT give a survey report on CERNET's Open-relayed SMTP 
 servers, based checking SMTP Servers covered 75 B class in CERNET. 
	
Now, we had establish cooperation relationship with most national ISP of
 China, include :
	ChinaNet, 
	CNCNet, 
	CSTNet, 
	Jitong-Net,
	China Unicom, 
	China Mobile.
	
The anti-spam work of CCERT has attracted  many attention of media  in China. 
The most authoritative TV statiion, CCTV-2, CCTV-2 had  made 3 programs.The 
most influcing  paper,South Weekend , gave us a report on anti-spam.
