Introduction To CCERT(CERNET Computer Emergency Response Team)

       Founded in 1999, CCERT ( China Education and Research Network Computer Emergency Response Team)
       is the first CSIRT(Computer Security Incident Response Team) in China. is a non-profit orgnization
       who provides computer security related incident resp-onse service for people and organizations allover
       China, although our original intention is educational users.

       Now the incidents we are handling include:
       * Attack , intrusion of system or network  to or from China;
       * Abuse, probe or port scan  to or from China;
       * Spam, open relay  to or from China;
       * Traffic abnomaly  of host or network of CERNET;
       * Malicious code infection such as worms, virus, trojan ;
       * Other security related incident from or to China.

      CCERT was funded and supervised by CERNET(China Education and Research Network).
    The staff of CCERT are from more than 30 Universities and
    colleges connected to CERNET, most from Tsinghua University(Beijing), Peking Univ-
    -ersity ,SouthEast University,and South China University of Technology, and etc.

      Our work include incident related services, research and development, and security
    training:

      Incident response related service :

      * Coordination incident report and response origin from or target at network/host
	of China .
      * Distribute documents about security incidents and vulnerabilities (through ML and
        Web).
      * Anti-spam.
      * Help on establish of other CSIRT of CERNET

      Reseach and development:

      * Study on incident response and handling system in large scale network and attack
        isolation technology
      * Attack signature database
      * Autonomous agent based Intrusion detection system
      * Study on the spread model of malicious mobile code

      Security training
      * Seminor in Tsinghua University
